Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is an arbitrator on television in Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami when she was two. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also it was named the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across important demos. Polo was born on the 11th of April, 1959, in Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she received a diploma in political sciences. Later, she was awarded her PhD qualification in law from the University of Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. The legal expertise of Polo was utilized on other court shows, and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001 in addition to the show Sala de Parejas. Literature Works and Accolades 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo often speaks and is able to raise money to support the cause. She has fought for LGBT rights all throughout her life. She is a 1987 graduate from The University of Miami School of Law and is a Florida Bar member.
